As in recent holiday seasons, Radial will soon hire nearly 200 seasonal customer care workers at the e-commerce company’s Babcock Street call center in Melbourne.
In addition, Radial seeks to fill more than 1,900 virtual customer care jobs in Florida, Georgia, Colorado, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin.
Radial customer care centers work with retail brands such as Cole Haan, Hibbett Sports, Nautica, Payless, Puma, Rag & Bone, Tom Ford and World Market.

“This year, we’re finding that our customers are really looking to increase their purchasing for peak (season) through online shopping,” said Urvashi Purohit, Radial director of customer care.
“So in order for us to meet that demand, we are also increasing our staffing to make sure that we’re able to support their needs,” Purohit said.
“This year, more so than last year, we are really increasing our virtual presence from a customer care perspective,” she said.
Radial’s customer care representatives communicate with customers via phone, chat, email and social media.
In a September press release, Radial officials said a consumer survey of 1,000 adults across the United States shows 58% plan to increase their online shopping this holiday season.

“We are excited to add so many talented team members to support another busy peak season,” Sabrina Wnorowski, Radial senior vice president and chief human resources officer, said in a press release on the Melbourne hiring announcement.
“Each year we scale significantly and are constantly impressed with the work of our associates. It’s a busy time of year, but our teams are focused on creating an inclusive, collaborative, and fun work environment,” Wnorowski said in the release.
Radial is offering part- and full-time job opportunities in Melbourne during day and evening shifts. Opportunities exist to become full-time customer care representatives after the holiday season ends.
Purohit said her company’s ideal candidate is someone who “has an affinity for customer support, someone that is able to work on technology.”
“We can teach you everything you need to know about the brands that you’re going to be supporting, and how best to be that customer advocate. But we need folks that are really customer-support minded that want to help people,” Purohit said.
